Some services are not covered by the NHS. This means that a fee is charged in advance for non-NHS services.
Payment can be made by:- cash, cheque, credit or debit card.
Forms for completion by GPs should be left with our reception help desk.
You should allow 7 working days after which you may enquire about the status of the form and availability for collection.
Occasionally you may need a medical examination prior to the form being completed e.g. HGV medical, Pre-employment checks. If this applies to you please enquire at reception or call 0115 9373527

  Fees for medical work that is not covered by the NHS is charged according to the a doctor's time taken. The fees are calculated from the BMA recommended rate of £176.50 per hour, less 20% for registered patients. This high hourly rate reflects the cost of running this medical practice and all its staff.
