Jennifer studied pre-clinical medicine at the University of St Andrews prior to completing her clinical training at the University of Edinburgh Medical School, qualifying in 2009. She undertook her junior doctor years in a variety of hospital posts in Edinburgh including orthopaedics, paediatrics and medicine for elderly. Jennifer subsequently moved to Leicestershire for her GP speciality training, during which she completed her post graduate diploma in sexual and reproductive health. Before deciding to become a doctor, Jennifer was an A&E staff nurse in Liverpool for two years.
Jennifer is a local girl, having grown up in Radcliffe-on-Trent and attended Loughborough High School. She returned to Rushcliffe and joined the practice in February 2018. She is married with three young sons. In her spare time, she enjoys golf and running.
